Lord Darzi’s report marks only the beginning of NHS transformation

The NHS has been struggling due to underfunding from successive governments, leading to calls for reform. The key to improving patient care lies in respecting and caring for NHS staff, who are currently feeling tired, disengaged, and fed up. Ultimately, addressing the broader issues of underfunding and staff well-being is crucial for achieving sustainable improvements in public services like the NHS.
