The TikTok star Mr. Prada, also known as Terryon Thomas, facing accusations of second-degree murder

Terryon Thomas, a popular TikTok creator with 4 million followers on his main account, has been charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice in connection with the death of therapist William Nicholas Abraham. Abraham, 69, was found dead on the side of a highway near Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, and died as a result of blunt-force trauma. Thomas was arrested in Dallas after being accused of killing Abraham and dragging his body. Evidence, including blood, sharp objects, and weapons, was found in Thomas’ home, and surveillance footage captured Abraham entering Thomas’ apartment complex the day before his body was found. Witnesses saw Thomas dragging a tarp and loading it into Abraham’s car. Thomas was also arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, resisting an officer, and aggravated criminal damage to property after fleeing from police in Abraham’s car. The motive and relationship between Thomas and Abraham are still under investigation.

Thomas gained notoriety on TikTok for copying other creators’ videos shot for shot, leading to allegations of plagiarism. He gained attention for his unapologetic attitude toward these accusations, which created a meme around being a “Mr Prada victim.” Over the past year, Thomas has shown concerning behavior on his social media accounts, hinting at loneliness and making drastic changes to his appearance. Despite the allegations and charges against him, Thomas’ followers continue to speculate about the alleged crime and possible motives, with some false claims circulating online. Thomas is currently in custody in Dallas and awaits extradition to Louisiana, with no court date set at this time.
