Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a series of new sexual assault and rape accusations as five new civil lawsuits were filed against him by attorney Tony Buzbee in the Southern District of New York. The suits, filed without naming the plaintiffs, include allegations of sexual assault or rape by Combs on separate occasions between 2000 and 2022. Two of the plaintiffs are men and three are women, with one woman claiming she was raped by Combs at 13 years old. Combs is also accused of drugging the plaintiffs in the suits.
Buzbee has plans to file a total of seven suits against Combs as he continues to gather evidence and prepare filings, with a statement emphasizing the pursuit of justice. Combs’ legal team has denied all accusations against him, asserting confidence in the legal process.
Combs is currently being held without bail on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges, with a criminal trial scheduled for May 5. Federal prosecutors are going through over 90 devices seized from Combs’ properties during raids this year. Combs is also fighting his bail denial and has appealed to have his accusers publicly identified in the federal sex trafficking case for a proper defense.
Several individuals have sued Combs in recent months, including former girlfriend Casandra Ventura and former member of Danity Kane, Dawn Richard, with allegations of groping, assault, and imprisonment. Combs denies all allegations against him as he faces multiple legal battles surrounding the accusations.
