Liam Payne’s first posthumous single, “Do No Wrong,” is set to be released less than three weeks after the singer’s sudden death in Argentina. The song’s producer, Sam Pounds, announced the release on X and expressed hope that the song will be a blessing to the world, with angels comforting listeners. Pounds also mentioned Payne’s family, Ruth and his 7-year-old son Bear, hoping the song will bring them healing.
After falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina, Payne was found dead with injuries consistent with a fall from height. Toxicology results indicated the presence of the drug cocktail known as “pink cocaine” in his system. Payne rose to fame as a member of One Direction in 2010, and after the band went on hiatus, he found success as a solo artist with hits like “Strip That Down” featuring Quavo.
Originally discovered on the reality TV show “The X Factor,” Payne’s solo album “LP1” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart in 2019. With the upcoming release of “Do No Wrong,” fans and followers are encouraged to “BE the blessing” as they listen to the posthumous single from the talented artist.
