Fordham University Volleyball hosts Rhode Island for their final midweek match of Atlantic 10 Conference play at the Rose Hill Gym. Rhode Island defeated Fordham earlier this month and fans can watch the Battle of the Rams on ESPN+. The Rose Hill Gym is celebrating its Centennial season and commemorative stickers will be given to fans at the game.
Rhode Island enters the match at 8-16 on the year with a 3-8 league record. Whitley Moody leads the attack for Fordham with over 250 kills this season. The Rams have shown strong performances in blocking, with Sophia Kuyn leading the team in total blocks. Moody has also recorded nine double-doubles this season.
Fordham recently faced off against No. 20 Dayton, falling in straight sets in back-to-back matches. Whitley Moody made history by becoming the All-Time Program Kills Leader for Fordham Volleyball during an earlier match against Rhode Island.
The team will now head to the greater North Carolina area for matches at Davidson this weekend. The Rams are looking to build on their strong performances and continue their momentum throughout the season. Fans can follow the team’s progress and support them as they compete in upcoming matches.
