In Cranston, Rhode Island, the Registrar of Elections Nick Lima reported that they are seeing almost 600 voters a day, surpassing numbers from previous years. Massachusetts is also experiencing record-breaking early voting numbers, with Director for Board of Elections Department in Fall River Ryan Lyons noting a significant increase compared to 2020.
Concerns about ballot security have been addressed by officials who assure that extra procedures are in place to safeguard each vote until Election Day.
