Jack Hertz has recently joined the Rhode Island Athletics Strength and Conditioning staff for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Headed by Scott Leech, Hertz will be working with the women’s soccer, baseball, softball, and rowing teams. Hertz, a Massachusetts native, brings four years of experience from the IMG Academy, where he worked with national championship teams and high school athletes who went on to compete at the Division I level.

Prior to his time at IMG Academy, Hertz completed professional internships at various institutions such as Harvard, UCF, Florida, and USF from 2018 to 2020. He is an alumni of the University of Florida, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology in May 2020, followed by a master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science in May 2021.

This new addition to the Strength and Conditioning staff is bound to bring fresh expertise and a wealth of knowledge to the Rhode Island Athletics program. With his extensive experience and success in working with high-level athletes, Hertz is expected to play a key role in helping the teams reach their peak performance levels. The entire department is excited to welcome him aboard and looks forward to seeing the positive impact he will have on the student-athletes under his guidance.
