The Brown Men’s Basketball team (6-3) will be facing off against the University of Rhode Island (9-0) on Tuesday evening at the Pizzitola Sports Center. This highly anticipated match will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and NESN as well as the Brown Varsity Network. Fans are encouraged to wear white for the white out game.
In their last game against Bryant, Brown secured their fifth consecutive win with a thrilling 76-75 victory. Kino Lilly Jr. made the game-winning three-pointer with 2.2 seconds left, finishing with 23 points. Lilly Jr. now holds the record for most three-pointers made in program history.
Aaron Cooley has also been impressive this season, averaging 12.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game with multiple double-doubles. Landon Lewis stepped up in the absence of Nana Owusu-Anane, scoring double figures in all nine games this season.
The Bears have shown strong defensive prowess, ranking first in the Ivy League in scoring defense. They have also been effective in sharing the ball, with 27 assists in a recent game against Sacred Heart.
