Providence, R.I. is set to host the four-day comedy festival “Lil Rhody Laugh Riot” from March 27 to 30, featuring a diverse lineup of comedians including Kevin Hart, Hannah Berner, and Leslie Jones. The festival, organized by The VETS Marketing Director Michael Gravison, aims to bring people together for a good time and plenty of laughs following the COVID-19 pandemic. Various venues across the city, such as VETS, PPAC, and RI Comedy Connection, will host performances, including the Triple The Laughs series showcasing comedians who do not usually tour together. Additionally, the festival will partner with the Providence-Warwick Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to host the “Providence Culinary Collective,” a food and wine festival happening the same weekend. New Rhode Island resident Matt Rife’s shows at the Comedy Connection have already sold out, indicating a high level of interest in the festival. Gravison hopes that the event will continue to grow in the future, becoming a must-attend annual event in Providence. Tickets for the festival can be purchased on the Lil Rhody Laugh Riot website.
