Beyoncé reveals ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour plans leading up to Grammys evening

Beyoncé announced a new tour, titled “Cowboy Carter Tour 2025” on social media and her website, with no further details available yet. The announcement comes after she postponed an announcement due to California wildfires and donated $2.5 million to support families affected. Beyoncé first performed songs from her album “Cowboy Carter” during a halftime show on Christmas Day and the performance became a standalone special on Netflix. The streaming platform recently added a clip hinting at the upcoming tour. This marks Beyoncé’s eighth album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart, with lead single “Texas Hold ’Em” achieving double platinum status and earning Grammy nominations. The announcement coincides with the 67th Grammy Awards, where “Cowboy Carter” received 11 nominations, including for album of the year. The album’s success has also led to Beyoncé becoming the first Black woman to lead the Top Country Albums chart. The timing of the announcement being at the beginning of February also corresponds with the start of Black History Month, similar to her previous tour announcement. Beyoncé’s label, Parkwood Entertainment, has teased fans by responding to Netflix’s post about the halftime show with a message to “saddle up” for the upcoming tour.
