The collaboration stemmed from Loeb’s desire to create an album with music that influenced her during her childhood. The cover art for the album, featuring animals having a festive picnic, was created by artist Meredith Knief. Despite facing some challenges due to the pandemic, Loeb and The Hollow Trees were able to bring their vision to life.
