Emma Antonio is working on biomass-based ‘hard carbon’ materials for sodium-ion batteries, which offer sustainable energy storage solutions. Applications are open for impulse 2025, a program that accelerates innovations into commercial ventures with guidance from industry mentors. These advancements in battery technology are set to revolutionize the energy landscape, with potential to drive down costs, reduce charging times, and enhance sustainability.
