The Woonsocket Police Department began pursuing the suspect in Uxbridge on Thursday night before continuing the chase into Woonsocket the following morning. The suspect led police onto Interstate 195, eventually crossing over into Massachusetts. Massachusetts State Police laid down stop sticks on the interstate in Seekonk in an attempt to stop the suspect, but the car managed to avoid them by crossing over into the median.
