St. John’s Red Storm, with an impressive 30-4 record, has been selected as the No. 2 seed in the West Region of the NCAA Tournament. They will face No. 15 Omaha in Providence, Rhode Island. If they win, they will play the winner of the game between No. 7 Kansas and No. 10 Arkansas. The Red Storm, led by Big East Player of the Year RJ Luis Jr., are looking to surpass the school’s all-time win total for a season and continue their success in the tournament.
Under the coaching of the legendary Rick Pitino, who has taken six different schools to the NCAA Tournament, St. John’s has had a remarkable season. They recently won the Big East Tournament championship and have a strong lineup of players, including leading scorers Luis, Ejiofor, and Richmond.
Pitino, with his extensive coaching experience and success in college basketball, has brought a winning mentality to the Red Storm. St. John’s is looking to make a statement in the tournament and possibly reach their first Final Four since 1985.
