Kingston, Rhode Island – Santoro Oil has teamed up with Rhode Island Athletics to organize a food drive at upcoming men’s and women’s basketball games. Fans are encouraged to participate in spreading the love this Valentine’s Day by donating non-perishable food items to benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. The food bank distributes healthy and culturally relevant food to various organizations across the state, reaching nearly 85,000 Rhode Islanders in need each month.
The program’s 147 member agencies work tirelessly to provide food to those who need it most, including pantries, meal sites, senior programs, and school programs. In return for their generosity, fans who donate a non-perishable food item at either Wednesday’s game against St. Bonaventure or Saturday’s game against La Salle will receive a voucher for two tickets to the March 8 home game against Fordham.
