Rhode Island-based Marsella Development Corp. has opened its new food hall, Track 15, at historic Union Station in downtown Providence. The 18,000 square-foot space features seven food vendors offering a variety of cuisines, as well as a large central bar serving beer, wine, and spirits. The project represents a $25 million investment in restoring the historic building.
The design of Track 15 pays homage to the building’s history as a train station, with original features like exposed brick and steel structures incorporated into the space. The food hall also includes community tables made from railroad materials and artwork showcasing the history of Union Station and the state of Rhode Island.
Christopher Marsella, president & CEO of Marsella Development Corp., expressed excitement about the project and gratitude to partners and the community for their support. The Marsella family collaborated with Convivium Hospitality Group to create a diverse and inclusive dining experience that celebrates Rhode Island’s cultural influences. Track 15 is now open for patrons to enjoy a unique culinary destination in the heart of Providence.
