Palestinian green card holder’s whereabouts unknown following Ice arrest in Vermont – live updates | US news


Palestinian student and green card holder Mohsen Mahdawi, a leader of the pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University, was arrested by Ice in Vermont. Unlawfully detained due to his Palestinian identity, Mahdawi’s whereabouts are currently unknown. His lawyer has filed a habeas corpus petition challenging his detention.
