Falmouth police have launched an investigation after 478 nails were discovered strewn across several streets and driveways on Friday. The nails were first spotted by an officer patrolling John Parker Road around 2 a.m., leading to further discoveries on Clark Street, Old Barnstable Road, and Prince Harry Drive.
Some of the nails were strategically placed under vehicle tires on driveways, causing potential hazards for residents. Falmouth police officers and the Department of Public Works worked together to collect all 478 nails from the affected areas.
