The New England Revolution will face off against the Rhode Island FC for the first time in a friendly match. Rhode Island FC, in its second year, won the USL Eastern Conference last season and is eager to showcase their talent against the MLS team. Coach and general manager Khano Smith, a former Revolution player himself, is excited for his team to play in their new stadium and hopes to attract attention to the club. The Revolution, in their 30th season, have won two of their last three games and are looking to continue their success. The winner of this match will advance to the next round to potentially face either Chicago or Detroit City. Fans can expect an exciting game on May 7th as both teams battle it out on the field.
