New Businesses and Current Vacancies on the Horizon at Garden City Center

Garden City Center in Cranston, R.I. is welcoming five new businesses as part of their efforts to fill some vacant stores and revitalize the outdoor shopping area. Anna Taqueria, PolkaDog Treat Bakery, Kendra Scott jewelry, J. Maclaughlin clothing, and Evereve women’s clothing store are set to open soon. In addition, a farmer’s market will be held on Sundays from May to September, featuring various vendors and activities like a beer garden.

The General Manager, Joe Koechel, is optimistic about the changes and is working to fill other vacancies left by businesses like Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Applebee’s, Bistro 22, and Party City. While Skin Spa New York will no longer be opening a location at Garden City Center, plans are in place to consolidate the available spaces for a new restaurant.

Locals like Stephanie Mastroianni are excited about the updates and hope to see more family-friendly options in the future. The new businesses are expected to open this fall, bringing added excitement to the already bustling shopping center.
