Haunted Discoveries Near Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island Home
In a chilling incident near Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island residence, known as Holiday House, police responded to reports of possible human remains on May 14. Located in the Watch Hill neighborhood, officials discovered what appeared to be a human leg bone. Westerly resident Taylor Day expressed shock, stating the incident was "very out of the ordinary for Westerly" and described the scene as alarming.
While authorities have not indicated foul play at this time, Day contested their view, deeming the discovery "suspicious." She noted that similar investigations in the area have stirred community speculation, prompting her to be more vigilant in her surroundings.
The remains have been sent to the Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office for identification, and the Westerly Police Department Detective Division has initiated an investigation. Swift, who purchased the home for $17 million in 2013, often hosts celebrity-filled Independence Day celebrations there and referenced the expansive property in her hit song "The Last Great American Dynasty."
Swift is currently planning a $1.7 million expansion for the property, which includes redesigning the interior to enhance its historic charm.
