College Graduation Season Celebrated in Southern New England
As Southern New England embraces the joyous college graduation season, several institutions are honoring their new graduates with ceremonies this weekend. Notable celebrations include the University of Rhode Island, Rhode Island College, Providence College, Wheaton College, Bristol Community College, Stonehill College, and Salve Regina University.
Earlier in May, Johnson and Wales University kicked off the graduation festivities with its ceremony on May 3, followed by Roger Williams University on May 12. Looking ahead, Brown University’s commencement is set for Sunday, May 25, with Governor Dan McKee scheduled to deliver remarks at both the Rhode Island College and Salve Regina University ceremonies this weekend.
