Bravo Unveils New Series: The Real Housewives of Rhode Island
Bravo has officially announced the addition of a new series to its acclaimed franchise: The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, marking the first expansion since The Real Housewives of Dubai launched in 2021. The highly anticipated show will delve into the lives of a close-knit community of Rhode Islanders, highlighting families with deep historical roots within the state.
This confirmation comes on the heels of Bravo’s decision to pause RHODubai after two seasons, making space for fresh content amidst the network’s ongoing reshuffling of its lineup. The Real Housewives franchise, which began with The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2006, has generated a blockbuster array of spin-offs, despite some facing cancellation.
Although the cast for The Real Housewives of Rhode Island has yet to be revealed, network executive Andy Cohen described them as "incredible" with a strong Italian heritage, bearing resemblance to earlier RHONJ seasons while maintaining a distinctive identity. Filming is expected to commence soon, with a projected premiere in mid-2026. The announcement was shared via Bravo’s Instagram, alongside other upcoming shows, signaling an exciting future for reality TV fans.
