Cranston Police Report Multiple Arrests from Feb. 16-20
CRANSTON, RI — The Cranston Police Department reported a series of arrests from February 16 to February 20, highlighting various offenses in the area.
On February 16, Adilson Carvalho, 24, of Woonsocket, was apprehended on a warrant following a vehicle stop at Cranston and Gladstone Streets. The next day, police arrested Isiah Allen, 26, of Providence, for receiving stolen goods and driving with a suspended license during a stop on Gansett Avenue. Kenneth Davila, 42, of Pawtucket, faced charges for obstructing an officer and resisting arrest on Reservoir Avenue later that day.
February 18 saw Stephen Smith, 42, charged with drug-related offenses linked to a suspicious package, while Alberto Ramirez Torres, 45, of Providence, was arrested for shoplifting at Lowe’s. The following day, Kory Chase, 49, was arrested for cocaine possession amidst multiple bench warrants, followed by Jimmy Kuang, 49, who faced charges related to marijuana distribution.
The weekend concluded with Olinda Jarvis, 76, charged with DUI after a traffic stop, and Anthony Apuzzie Xavier, 29, arrested for violating a no-contact order and driving on a suspended license. All arrests stemmed from police actions based on real-time events. No convictions were indicated in the report.
