NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI (WJAR) — The FBI has made two recent visits to a fire station in North Providence, prompting local officials to seek clarity on the agency’s interest in concrete work completed several years ago. Fire Chief John Horan disclosed that agents inquired about repairs made to a crumbling walkway and apron outside the station on Fruit Hill Avenue, which were necessitated by safety concerns.
While Horan refrained from elaborating on the specifics of the agents’ inquiries, he emphasized that the repairs fall outside the fire department’s direct responsibilities.
