TCJ Micro Mart Celebrates Grand Opening in Atlantic
Atlantic, IA – The Atlantic Area Chamber Ambassadors gathered on May 23 to celebrate the grand opening of TCJ Micro Mart, a new ethnic grocery store focused on serving the Pacific Islander community. Melyn Yamaguchi, the store’s owner, brings a wealth of experience from her upbringing in a family-run business in the Pacific Islands and her retail operations in Omaha.
Recognizing a significant demand for cultural essentials among customers traveling from Sioux City, Cass County, and surrounding areas, Melyn decided to establish a local store. After securing the keys to her new location in March, she and her family dedicated themselves to curating a diverse selection of products tailored to the needs of the community.
TCJ Micro Mart features a wide array of ethnic foods, traditional clothing, and unique jewelry reflecting the rich cultures of Micronesians and other Pacific Islanders. With a commitment to convenience, the store operates Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and offers online ordering and delivery options.
Melyn hopes that as TCJ Micro Mart grows, it will continue to meet and exceed the expectations of local residents. The store is conveniently located at 704 Walnut Street, Suite #2 in Atlantic. For more information on the products available, customers can visit the store’s website at www.tcjmicro.com.
The opening of TCJ Micro Mart marks an exciting development in the community, providing essential supplies and fostering cultural connections in Atlantic.
