Rhode Island is brimming with vibrant festivals this summer, highlighting diverse cultures and artistic expressions. Kicking off the festivities, the 10th Annual Day of Portugal Festival takes place in Fall River from June 6-8, featuring renowned performers from Portugal and a range of family-friendly activities.
On June 7, Providence Porchfest promises an eclectic mix of local bands performing on residents’ porches throughout the East Side, fostering community spirit. Later, New England’s largest Pride celebration unfolds on June 21 in downtown Providence, culminating in a grand parade.
The 7th Annual Juneteenth RI Festival on June 22 honors emancipation with music, vendors, and local headliner Thomas Dyer. Meanwhile, the Newport Classical festival runs July 4-22, showcasing 29 concerts across iconic venues.
