New Dining Destinations Open in Boston and Beyond
Boston’s culinary scene continues to thrive with exciting new openings. On the third floor of City Hall, Scobie’s, an Irish café from Dorchester, is now serving savory sausage rolls, decadent scones with clotted cream, and gourmet sandwiches starting at 7:30 a.m. on weekdays.
In Haverhill, Skyline Social has launched a chic 21-plus rooftop bar in the heart of downtown, occupying a scenic 4,800-square-foot penthouse. The venue offers a playful menu featuring snacks like shrimp cocktails and flatbreads, alongside unique cocktails such as spicy margaritas and a sharing-friendly watermelon infused with vodka and prosecco. Open Thursday through Sunday, it’s a new staple for late-night entertainment.
Also debuting soon is Claudine in Providence, a fine dining restaurant led by Josh Finger and Maggie McConnell, who are passionate about elevating the local food scene. With just 26 seats, Claudine will offer an eight-course, $165 tasting menu highlighting New England ingredients, along with curated wine and non-alcoholic pairings. Reservations open monthly, with seating available Thursday through Sunday.
Additional openings include a new branch of honeygrow in Allston and a Cambridge diner-inspired location of Brookline Lunch in Brookline.
