New Public Affairs Show "Behind the Story" Launches on WPRI
WPRI has announced the debut of its new public affairs program, "Behind the Story," hosted by Eli Sherman, alongside reporters Kim Kalunian and Globe columnist Dan McGowan. Every week, the trio will delve into significant yet overlooked news stories from across Southern New England, shedding light on their impact within the community.
The first episode premiered on the WPRI 12+ App, which is available for download. Viewers can catch new episodes Thursdays at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. on the app, with broadcasts airing Sundays at 8 a.m. on FOX Providence and 11 a.m. on The CW Providence.
"Behind the Story" aims to give local journalism a platform, offering insights and discussions about pertinent issues that may have escaped mainstream attention. This initiative is part of WPRI’s commitment to providing thorough coverage of local events and happenings.
