Virginia Woman Arrested Linked to Netflix Star’s Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident

A Virginia woman, Amanda Kempton, 32, was arraigned on Saturday following a hit-and-run incident in the Hamptons that resulted in the death of 40-year-old Sara Burack, a luxury real estate agent known for her role in Netflix’s reality series “Million Dollar Beach House.” Southampton Town Police arrested Kempton after Burack was found unresponsive on Montauk Highway early Thursday morning. Emergency services received a 911 call regarding a woman lying unconscious on the road, and Burack was later pronounced dead at Stony Brook University Hospital.

Kempton has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving a fatality and pleaded not guilty in court. Following her arraignment, she was released on bail, although her attorney has yet to make a public statement regarding the case. Burack had a successful career at Nest Seekers International, where she worked for over a decade, specializing in high-end properties in the Hamptons.

The Netflix series “Million Dollar Beach House” featured Burack and other agents vying for prestigious listings, highlighting the competitive luxury real estate market. The show aired for a single season in 2020 and gained attention for showcasing the lavish lifestyles of its cast. Following the tragic incident, neither Nest Seekers International nor Netflix has commented publicly on Burack’s passing. The investigation into her death continues as authorities seek further details about the hit-and-run.
