Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, 41, was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee after a minor crash. He was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a handgun under the influence, and other charges. Cutler allegedly rear-ended another vehicle, tried to flee, and refused a sobriety test. Police found a rifle and a loaded handgun in his car. Cutler was released on $5,000 bond with conditions that he does not drive without an ignition interlock device or while under the influence.
Cutler is best known for his 12-season career in the NFL, primarily with the Chicago Bears. He was married to reality TV star Kristin Cavallari, with whom he appeared in the show “Very Cavallari.” The couple shares three children. Cutler’s representative did not respond to requests for comment on the arrest.
