Meet Lavender: OCHS adoptable pet who thrives on an active lifestyle

Lavender, a young adult cat, is currently available for adoption through the Oswego County Humane Society. Lavender is an active and playful cat who loves wand toys and interacting with her human companions. She is also a cuddler, but only on her terms. Lavender has previously lived with other cats and does well with dogs, making her a great fit for a home with older children.

Although she has tested positive for FIV, a manageable immune-compromising disease, Lavender can still live a normal and healthy life as long as she receives regular vaccinations. Due to her condition, the Humane Society recommends that she be the only cat in the household.

Lavender is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to find her forever home. Her adoption fee is $75. If you are interested in adopting Lavender, you can download an adoption application from the Humane Society’s website and email it to info@oswegohumane.org.

The Oswego County Humane Society is dedicated to promoting and strengthening the human-animal bond through various programs, including fostering-to-adoption initiatives, spay/neuter clinics, and humane education. As a charitable organization registered with the New York State Charities, the Humane Society is committed to finding loving homes for animals in need.
