Providence College volleyball team is set to close out its regular season this weekend with matches against Villanova and St. John’s. The Friars will face Villanova on Friday, November 22, and St. John’s on Saturday, November 23. The team enters the weekend with an 8-19 record and 1-15 in the BIG EAST, with standout performances from players like Sophia Adkins, Shaliyah Rhoden, Kayla Grant, Macy Taylor, and Miller McDonald.
Villanova, with a 15-12 record and 8-8 in the BIG EAST, will be a tough opponent led by players like Abby Harrell, Alyssa Nelson, and Campbell McKinnon.
St. John’s, with a 20-10 record and 9-7 in the BIG EAST, poses another challenge with standout players like Erin Jones, Rashanny Solano Smith, and Wiktoria Kowalczyk.
The Providence College team has seen success throughout the season, with Kayla Grant and Miller McDonald receiving awards and honors for their performances. Jiji Lykins, Shaliyah Rhoden, Lyric Berry, and Sophia Adkins have also received recognition for their efforts on the court.
