Brown University to move 600 employees to former Hasbro headquarters for Health initiatives

Brown University Health has announced that it will be relocating its administrative offices to LaSalle Square in Providence, formerly the Hasbro headquarters. The move is set to take place on June 1 and will see 600 employees housed in the new building. President and CEO John Fernandez stated that the move will allow the organization to save costs by consolidating its administrative functions into one central location. The decision will also create a more integrated workforce for the health system.

The move will involve the consolidation of administrative and corporate positions from the Coro Building and other locations in South Providence. It is possible that additional positions currently situated at hospital campuses may also be relocated to the new office space. Brown Health’s investment in the city of Providence reflects its commitment to contributing to the economic vibrancy of downtown Providence. This transition is expected to streamline operations and promote greater efficiency within the organization.
